Sam Houston's scheduled single non-conference softball game versus Texas Southern Tuesday in Houston has been canceled due to the heavy rains and flooding in the area.
The game will not be rescheduled.
The Bearkats will play host to nationally-ranked Texas A&M in a 4:30 p.m. doubleheader Wednesday at the Softball Complex.
Sam Houston travels west to take on Abilene Christian in a three-game Southland Conference series this weekend. The pair will play a 6 p.m. doubleheader on Friday and a 12 noon doubleheader on Saturday.
The Kats will wrap up their 2016 home schedule in their next-to-last Southland weekend series on Friday and Saturday April 29 and 30. Incarnate Word visits for a 3 p.m. doubleheader on Friday and a 3 p.m. single game Saturday.
