Softball Adds Bailey For 2018

HUNTSVILLE – Sam Houston head softball coach Bob Brock has announced the addition of standout Annie Bailey to the roster for the 2018 season.
Bailey has been a standout for Tom Bean High School (Tom Bean, Texas) since 2014 and is set to earn her fourth letter for the Tomcats in 2017. A dual threat as both a pitcher and a corner infielder, she also plays select softball for Mizuno Impulse.
She has earned first team all-district honors each of her first three seasons in addition to being the team MVPeach year. Bailey was named the 2014 District 11-AA Newcomer of the Year and all-Texomaland as a freshman and followed that up with similar honors a year later.
As a junior she was named the Defensive Player of the Year in District 13-AAA, once again earning all-Texomaland and all-district honors while also being named to the TGCA all-state and all-star teams.
