Spring FB underway, Orange-White game April 12

The Sam Houston State football team began the first of 11 practices this Spring on Monday morning, as the Kats look build off another FCS semifinal appearance and a 12-2 season.
In addition to the 11 practices, the team will hold a pair of scrimmages and conclude things with the annual Orange-White game on April 12.
“I thought it was good just to get everyone out on the field and work as a group,” said head coach K.C. Keeler. “We've got some new faces on both sides of the ball we need to start integrating into what we do. For them, it's just a matter of getting up to speed to how we do things.”
The first scrimmage will be Saturday and the second will be held on April 7. Both will begin at 9 a.m. All practices begin at 8 a.m. and both are open to the public.
Season tickets are scheduled to go on sale starting April 12. SHSU will introduce a new tiered pricing structure for the upcoming Bearkat football season and single game tickets. Season ticket holders will be contacted with information on the new pricing structure, the cost of their tickets and all of the benefits that come with being a season ticket holder. Last year's holders will have the opportunity to renew the same seat(s) they previously held.
