
Soccer Picked Seventh in SLC Preseason Poll

FRISCO, Texas – Determined to improve off of last season's campaign, the Sam Houston State soccer team was picked to finish seventh in the Southland Conference for the 2018 season, announced by the league Thursday.

Aiming to surpass last season's seventh-place result, head coach Tom Brown said that the Kats have much bigger goals than finishing in the middle of the pack.
“The team spent a lot of time working together during the summer sessions and has continued to show a desire to have a successful season by their hard work over the past week,” Brown said. “The team will continue to work hard each day to reach our goals.”
