HUNTSVILLE – After a big series win over the weekend, the Sam Houston State Bearkats will be looking to continue to defend its home turf with four games this week at Don Sanders Stadium, beginning Tuesday when they host No. 14 Texas A&M.
The Bearkats will be playing host to the Aggies for the first time since 2013 and hold wins in four of the last seven meetings overall. Following Tuesday's game, the Kats will play host to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi for three games beginning Friday.
Each game of the week can be followed via live stats or by following @BearkatsBSB on Twitter. Tuesday's game vs the Aggies will be aired on ESPN+ with Matt Pedersen and Matt Trent on the call.

Sam Houston State split four games last week, but made the most of its weekend by taking two of three contests from UConn in Huntsville. The Kats used a seven-run fifth inning on Friday to take the series opener, then bookended the weekend with a 6-5 win on Sunday on a two-run homer by Hunter Hearn.
The series served as the final non-conference weekend of the year for the Bearkats and they head into the final three weeks of the regular season tied with Southeastern Louisiana at the top of the Southland standings with three teams sitting just one game back of the pacesetters.
Texas A&M will end a stretch of eight of nine games on the road with its short trip to Huntsville, a game that will serve as primer for a marquee matchup this weekend vs No. 9 Mississippi State in College Station. Coach Rob Childress' squad is coming off a tough weekend sweep at the hands of Ole Miss that was bookended by a pair of walk-off wins for the Rebels.
The Aggies will be the first nationally-ranked opponent at Don Sanders Stadium since No. 20 Houston took on the Kats in 2017 and will be going after their first win in Huntsville since 2012.
Meanwhile, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi will play out its home schedule on Tuesday when it hosts Texas at Whataburger Field and then begins a stretch of seven straight on the road to close out the regular season when it comes to The Don.
The Islanders stand at 12-12 in the SLC standings with six more league games on their slate, all away from the comforts of Chapman Field. They got off to a 10-4 start in SLC play, but have dropped eight of its last 10 games vs league opponents, including falling in two of three games to Southeastern Louisiana and Stephen F. Austin in the past two weekends.
