Box Score 2 NORMAN, Okla. — The Sam Houston softball team dropped its final two games at the Oklahoma Tournament at Marita Hynes Field on Sunday.
The Bearkats (3-9) will play BYU on Wednesday in San Marcos at 3 p.m. before facing Texas State at 6.
Game 4
ULM 8, Sam Houston 6
Sam Houston rallied twice to tie it, but ULM scored two runs in the bottom of the sixth to hand the Bearkats an 8-6 loss at Marita Hynes Field on Sunday.
SHSU trailed 3-0 heading into the top of the third inning when sophomore
Kyndal Kutac reached on a three-base error to start the frame. Senior
Megan McDonald brought her home with a sacrifice fly to right field, and junior
Sheridan Fisher doubled and came around to score to make it 3-2 on an RBI single by freshman
Emily Telg.
The Warhawks added three more in the bottom of the third, but once again the Bearkats answered in the fourth.

Brooke Malia laced a one-out single into centerfield before being replaced by pinch runner
Madison Dillon who moved to second on a single by sophomore
Regan Dunn. Kutac loaded the bases when she was hit by a pitch and the runners advanced on a passed ball for the first run of the inning.
McDonald drove in another run on a single, and Fisher cut the lead to 6-5 with an RBI fielder's choice.
Sam Houston tied it with an RBI single by Malia in the top of the sixth only to see ULM score two in the bottom of the inning en route to the victory.

No. 1 Oklahoma 17, Sam Houston 0 (5 innings)
The No. 1 Sooners scored 13 runs in the third and added four more in the fourth inning to defeat the Bearkats in the Oklahoma Tournament at Marita Hynes Field on Sunday afternoon.
Oklahoma hit six home runs in the contest. Three Sooners' pitchers combined for a perfect game in the victory.
