Baseball series vs Lamar postponed

HUNTSVILLE – Due to COVID-19 issues and contact tracing within the Sam Houston program, this weekend's series with Lamar has been postponed.

The teams will work with the Southland Conference to try to reschedule any games and details of a potential reschedule will be released at a later date.

The Kats and Cardinals were scheduled to play single games on both Friday and Saturday before playing a doubleheader on Sunday. Sam Houston currently is tied with New Orleans for second place in the Southland standings, two games back of league-leading Southeastern Louisiana.

Sam Houston currently has 4-game series remaining t Stephen F. Austin and Nicholls, along with a home series against Abilene Christian. The Kats also are scheduled to host Little Rock in a non-conference series at Don Sanders Stadium, May 7-9.
