Cross country competes at Texas A&M

COLLEGE STATION — The Sam Houston men's and women's cross country teams competed at the Arturo Barrios Invitational hosted by Texas A&M on Saturday.
Gudisa Adnow was the top finisher for the men. He placed 18th with a time of 24:12.6.
Elijah McWilliams placed 79th with a time of 25:08.4, and Brian Mileski was 145th with a time of 25:46.6. Christian Rivera finished 188th with a mark of 26:16.7, and Yonny Portillo was 231st with a time of 26:46.0.
Wyatt Lehman placed 239th with a time of 26:50.6, and Jacob Zimmerman was 259th at 27:11.5. Eli Ortiz came in 273rd with a time of 27:21.1, while Blake Raines was 329th at 28:52.0.
The men placed 22nd out of 40 teams.
Sasha Elizondo placed 165th on the women's side with a time of 23:22.0, and Ellie Galan was 230th at 24:20.1. Kristen Wilson was 254th with a mark of 24:47.1, and Lauren Johansson was 28th at 25:29.6.
