Flagg named NABC all-district

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sam Houston standout Savion Flagg has been named the 2022 NABC Division I All-District Teams, the organization announced Tuesday.

Flagg was voted to the District 6 first team along with Fardaws Aimaq of Utah Valley, Teddy Allen of New Mexico State, Daylen Kountz of Northern Colorado and Darrion Trammell of Seattle.

Flagg was the third leading scorer in the WAC, averaging 18.7 points per game. He scored in double figures in 31 of the 32 games he played in including a consecutive game streak of 28 which was the longest in the country this season.

He was named to the All-WAC first team and the All-Newcomer team.

The Alvin native also averaged 8.1 rebounds per game which was also third in the conference and 2.1 assists per game. He finished the season with nine double-doubles.
