HUNTSVILLE – The Sam Houston volleyball team will hit the road once again on Tuesday, making the short drive over to College Station to take on Texas A&M at Reed Arena.
Tuesday's match will be streamed on SEC Network+. Fans can also follow each match via live stats and get updates via social media by following @BearkatsVB on Twitter.
It is the first time the Kats have faced off against the Aggies in volleyball since 2017 and only the second time since 2010
Sam Houston is coming of a weekend that saw it win one of three matches at the Islander Classic in Corpus Christi, taking down host A&M-Corpus Christi while also falling to SMU and Indiana.
The Kats will take on three teams from Power 5 leagues on the week, starting with the Aggies on Tuesday. They will then travel to San Marcos to battle Ole Miss, Wake Forest and host Texas State at the Bobcat Invitational over the weekend.

Hannah Baker to rise up the ranks of career digs at Sam Houston and is beginning her approach of a career milestone of her own, now with 930. With 70 more digs she would be come the 19th player in Bearkat history with 1,000 digs.
Krieger, Baker Named To All-Tournament Team At Islander Classic
The Kats landed a pair of players on the all-tournament team in Corpus Christi with
Catherine Krieger and Baker both getting honors. Krieger finished the weekend as the Kats' top hitter, averaging 2.66 kills per set while Baker averaged 5.00 digs per set, including 22 in the win over the Islanders
Gray Picks Up 750th Career Win vs Prairie View
It was another milestone for 39th-year head coach
Brenda Gray on last Tuesday as she picked up her 750th career victory when the Kats swept their way past Prairie View in the 2022 home opener at Johnson Coliseum. Gray is the fourth-longest tenured current coach in Division I, and is 10th in the nation among active coaches with her 751 career victories.

The Kats put on a show in Tuesday night's sweep of Prairie View, its home opener for 2022. But that will be the last time SHSU fans see the Kats on their home floor for a while as Sam Houston's trip to Corpus Christi kicks off a stretch of 11 consecutive road matches. The Kats will not be at home again until hosting rival Stephen F. Austin on September 24.
