STILLWATER, Okla. — Sam Houston will look to avenge a road loss last year at Oklahoma State when the Bearkats face the Cowboys at Gallagher-Iba Arena on Sunday at 2 p.m.
The Kats are coming off a 79-73 overtime loss to Utah Valley at Johnson Coliseum on Thursday. Sam Houston opened the season with a 64-57 road win at Pacific on Monday.
Oklahoma State opened the season at home on Monday against Abilene Christian. The Wildcats came away with a 64-59 upset, holding the Cowboys to just over 41 percent shooting from the field.
The two teams played each other last season on Dec. 6 in Stillwater. Oklahoma State topped Sam Houston 65-51 to improve to 3-0 all-time against the Bearkats.
