HOUSTON- Sam Houston will travel to Houston and face the Cougars on Tuesday.
 
Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Fertitta Center with the game set to be aired on ESPN+.

It has been two decades since the Bearkats have faced the Cougars. Tuesday will be the 16th all-time meeting with the last meeting between the teams ending in a 54-106 loss on December 1, 2002.
 
Sam Houston trails the all-time series between the teams, 13-2.

The Bearkats opened the season with a 67-65 victory over HCU. Three different Bearkats scored in double figures in the Victory. Sydnee Kemp's 14 points including 3-three pointers powered the Kats to Victory. Diana Rosenthal and Raanee Smith added 12 and 11 points respectively. The Kats took the ball away from the Huskies 18 times, with Rosenthal leading the way with six steals of her own.
