ARLINGTON — The Sam Houston bowling team had a rocky day two at the Prairie View Invitational to fall to eighth place at the ITRC on Saturday.

The Bearkats went 1-4 to move to 5-5 in the tournament with with 9,739 total pins through two days. Jacksonville State remains in first with 10,498 pins followed by Youngstown State (10,355), Arkansas State (10,280), Nebraska (10,174), Vanderbilt (10,083), Louisiana Tech (9,951)and North Carolinal A&T (9,852).

"Super disappointed that we're having these issues and every time we take two steps forward, we take five back," head coach Brad Hagen said. "It is beyond ridiculous and uncalled for. We just need to regroup (Sunday) and do what we are capable of to improve."
