COLLEGE STATION — The Sam Houston men's and women's cross country teams wrapped up the regular season at the Arturo Barrios Invitational hosted by Texas A&M on Friday.
The Bearkat men placed 17
th out of a stacked 38-team field, while the women finished 36
th out of 41 teams.
Christian Rivera led the the Kats with a 27
th-place showing by completing the 8K course in 23:24.7, just ahead of teammate
Gudisa Adnow who was 29
th at 23:29.4.
Ellie Galan paced the women with a 158
th-place finish in a time of 21:39.5 on the 6K course.
Next up Sam Houston will run at the Conference USA Championships in Oxford, Alabama on Nov. 2.
