HUNTSVILLE — The Sam Houston softball team will host the Liberty Flames for a Conference USA weekend series beginning Friday at Bearkat Softball Complex. 

Series Schedule
Friday 3/22 - 6:30 p.m. 
Saturday 3/23 - 3:30 p.m. (ESPN+) 
Sunday 3/24 - 12:00 p.m.  

The Bearkats are coming off a 3-2 loss at Lamar on Tuesday in their only midweek game. The Cardinals were able to scratch across a run in the sixth inning to win it. 

Sam Houston is still on the hunt for their first CUSA win, previously having been swept by Louisiana Tech and New Mexico State to sit at 0-6 in league play. 

This will be the second all-time meeting between the Kats and the Flames. The first matchup ended in a 3-0 Sam Houston victory in Huntsville on March 14, 2012.
