The Bearkat Sports Network will add a new show to its list of programs on Tuesday with the debut of BSN Live. 

BSN Live, which will stream at 4 p.m., will be a sports talk format hosted by Jason Barfield, Director of Broadcasting for Athletics, and Sam Houston journalism professor Josh Criswell.

BSN Live will air from the Woodforest Back Athletic Center studio and be the first live studio show in the BSN lineup. 

Criswell currently serves as Assistant Professor of Practice and Faculty Advisor for The Houstonian. He is the former beat writer for Sam Houston while working at the Huntsville Item and most recently was Sports Editor for Chron.com.

The show will air live each week and will be available online on GoBearkats.com or through the Bearkats Sports app. Fans can also listen on the new BSN+ OTT app which is available on AppleTV, Roku and Fire TV.

BSN Live is the fifth original program offered by the Bearkat Sports Network, joining two podcasts BSN Xtra and the Kats Eye, the studio highlight show The Growl along with the Basketball Coaches Show.
