For the third straight season, the Bearkat Sports Network will be the flagship audio home of Sam Houston athletics. 

Beginning with Saturday's football game against Western Kentucky, more than 100 games and events will be broadcast by BSN including every football game and select men's and women's basketball, baseball, volleyball and softball games. 

Also new this year will be an all-new way to listen in Huntsville, as Bearkat games make their return to 90.5 FM, the campus radio station. KSHU will be the over-the-air home of select Sam Houston games this season including all football home and road.

Also new this year will be the Bearkat Football Kickoff Show. Starting 45 minutes before opening kick, tune in to hear Director of Broadcasting Jason Barfield as he sets the table for the game. Barfield will introduce the opponent for the Bearkats and take a look at the history between the two teams. 

Barfield will then turn things over to the Bearkat Football Pregame show where Carlos Zimmermann returns to the booth for his fourth season calling Bearkat sports. He's joined again this year in the football booth by former Sam Houston quarterback Brian Adams who begins his 12^th year on the Bearkat football broadcasts.

Also back this season through the department's partnership with Van Wagner, select Bearkat Sports Network broadcasts will be available on SiriusXM satellite radio. Saturday's game at WKU can be found on the web on channel 964 or on the SXM app. Future BSN broadcasts on SiriusXM will be announced on a week-to-week basis.  

All Sam Houston football games can be heard online on GoBearkats.com. Live audio is also available in the Bearkat Sports app on Apple and the Google Play store. Additionally, it can be found on the new BSN+ app on AppleTV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV.
