On the road to Jax State

JACKSONVILLE, ALA.— Volleyball travel to Jacksonville, Alabama to face Jax State in a two-game series at Pete Mathews Coliseum.

The Kats (8-13, 0-8 CUSA) and the Gamecocks (9-11, 3-5 CUSA) will face off at 6 p.m. on Friday and continue the series at 1 p.m. on Saturday. Both matches can be watched on ESPN+.

Chelsea Butler had a career high of 16 kills against WKU in the last match. Freshman Chloe Monson continues to lead in kills with 308 for the Kats and Lauren Malone following with 229 for the season. Avery Fowler leads in assists with 593 as well as service aces with 24.

The Bearkats first faced off against the Gamecocks in 2019. The Kats went on to win the last two matchups in 2024, starting a two-game winning streak. The Kats' all-time record against the Gamecocks stands at 2–3.
