HUNTSVILLE – The Sam Houston women's basketball team will be looking to work its way back into the win column on Tuesday when it takes on Alabama at Coleman Coliseum. Â
Tipoff for the game is set for 6:00 p.m. and will air on SEC Network+ with Roger Hoover, Niya Butts and Chloe Rigdon on the call courtside.    Â

- Sam Houston saw its 4-game win streak come to an end in a 66-50 loss at Rice on December 3. The Kats led after a quarter of play and were within striking distance of the Owls entering the fourth quarter before Rice canned five 3-point baskets in the final period to claim the winÂ
- The Kats checked in at No. 115 in the NCAA's latest NET ranking through games on December 14, the second-highest ranking CUSA team. Defending CUSA champion Liberty is the only one ranked higher, coming in at No. 114Â
