Robison named CUSA Player of the Week

DALLAS — Sam Houston redshirt junior Jenny Robison has been named Conference USA Player of the Week, the league announced Monday.Â
Robison earned her first weekly honor of the season after helping the Bearkats sweep UTEP over the weekend. She hit two home runs in the series, including one that gave the Bearkats the lead in Sunday's 6-2 win.Â
A key contributor for Sam Houston this season, Robison leads the team with a .371 batting average. She has six home runs, all coming in clutch moments during conference play as the team remains tied for second place at 11-7 in league play.Â
The Bearkats travel to Liberty this weekend looking to extend their four-game winning streak. All games will be streamed on ESPN+.Â
