Men's relay qualifies for nationals

The Sam Houston men's track team had a relay post a top time at the Conference USA Championships in May to qualify for the national championships later this month.
The 4x100 relay team of Xzamion Parker, Javain Johnson, Jayden Jones and Tyriq Brunn turned in a time of 39.31 which was good enough to bring home silver at the conference meet. It is also tied for the 18th-best time in the country this year which is good enough to earn a spot at the NCAA Track and Field Championships at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon June 11-14.Â
