Kats finish 15th at Badger Invitational

MADISON, Wis. – Sam Houston women's golf finished 15th at the Badger Invitational at University of Wisconsin Golf Course.
The Bearkats shot 19-over-par in the final round to finish the 54-hole tournament at 67-over-par. Sam Houston finished one stroke ahead of Bradley.
Isabelle Hurrion led the Bearkats, tying for 28th at 7-over-par. Hurrion carded rounds of 75, 73 and 75, recording two birdies in the final round on holes 14 and 16.
Amelia Guo finished just behind Hurrion, posting three rounds of 76, 77 and 77. Guo recorded two birdies, including one in the opening round and another in the final round.
Iowa State claimed the team title at 7-under-par, followed by Northwestern at 3-under and host Wisconsin at 7-over-par.
Pureun Kim tied for 81st at 22-over-par after rounds of 82, 80 and 76. Kim finished strong with three birdies in the final round after recording four birdies in the second round.
Bomyeong Lee finished 86th at 24-over-par, carding rounds of 81, 80 and 79.
Jordyn Herridge made her collegiate debut, finishing 88th at 31-over-par. Herridge recorded a birdie on the 12th hole during her final round.
Sam Houston will head to Lubbock for the Red Raider Invitational at The Rawls Course beginning Sept. 22. The two-day tournament will mark the Bearkats' next competition.
