2018-19 Season

As a freshman this past season, Chambers helped lead the Bearkats to their first Southland Conference Championship and a bid to the NCAA Championships for the 8^thtime in the program’s nine years.

Junior career 

Elise Chambers capped a great week and summer off at the Junior Gold Amateur Championships from Detroit Michigan with the best ever finish for a Bearkat, earning a spot on the Junior Team USA as a finalist in the top 4 nationally. 
 
Chambers navigated a field of 430 bowlers to finish fourth at the Under-20 event. After making the cut to the final 63 bowlers, she qualified for the double-elimination knockout round as the No. 3 seed. That top-3 placement is what earned her the automatic spot on Junior Team USA.  Her best finish prior too was 84^th.  
 
Chambers becomes the third Bearkat to make the Junior Team USA, joining two-time member Heather Penatzer and Stephanie Zavala. The Bearkats have had a representation on the junior national team four of the last five years.
