BACKGROUND
Arrington comes to Sam Houston after a four-year varsity run at Hendrickson High School ... In 2016, she led her squad to a district and bi-district championship and helped the team advance to the area round of the playoffs ... was named an all-district second-team member and collected “Team Workhorse” honors ... led Hendrickson to another district championship the following year, but this time took the Hawks all the way to a 6A state championship ... Her efforts earned her all-district honorable-mention laurels ... In 2018, she helped Hendrickson to another bi-district championship as she raked in all sorts of honors ... was dubbed the district’s defensive MVP, the team MVP and defensive MVP and capped off a solid career with all-state second-team honors ... earned academic all-district honors in 2016, 2017 and 2018 ... was named to the Austin American Statesman All-Central Texas Team in 2018 and was a member of TopDrawerSoccer.com’s TDS Winter State Stars ... was a member of the Lonestar soccer club where she played in the Frontier Development/National League for Peter McCann.
