Townsend started all 14 games as a forward … scored three goals and had four assists … second on the team with 10 points … scored goals in a 4-2 loss to Central Arkansas (3/12), the game winner in a 2-1 victory over McNeese (4/1) and in a 4-3 come-from-behind overtime victory over Lamar in the opening round of the Southland Conference Tournament (4/13).

Townsend was a first-team all-district and second-team all-area selection at Little Elm High School as a senior. She is a three-time all-district academic honoree and plays for the FC Dallas club team.
