Appeared in 50 games … went 2-for-4 against Wichita State (2/11) … hit an RBI against Tulsa (2/19) … went 3-for-3 against SFA (4/29)
2021 Season
Appeared in 47 games, making 46 starts as an infielder and outfielder … was second on the team with a .277 batting average and 26 hits … finished with five doubles, two triples, a home run and 17 RBIs … stole a team-high 16 bases on 17 attempts … went 3 for 4 with a double and a triple, scored two runs and had two RBIs against Louisiana-Monroe on 3/6 … was named to the Southland Conference All-Academic second team.
2020 Season
Appeared in 17 games for the Bearkats, starting in 13 … hit .250 with 10 hits, one double and one triple, scoring six runs and one RBI … had a fielding percentage of .976 … recorded 14 putouts against George Mason on Feb. 7 and had a career high of three stolen bases.
High School
As a four-year letterwinner at Angleton High School for coach Cindy Rubio, Grill hit .453 with 36 doubles, 15 triples, three home runs, 119 RBI and 42 stolen bases … led the Ladycats to the Class 5A state championship as a senior and was named to the all-tournament team … earned all-state, all-district and was selected to the TGCA Legacy Team in 2019 … as a freshman, she led her team to a district championship and state semifinals appearance .. after another playoff run as a sophomore, she returned for her junior season and led the squad to a co-district championship and playoff appearance … picked up all-district first-team honors as a junior, as well as TGCA all-star, all-county first team and all-county offensive MVP laurels … was named to the all-district second as a freshman and sophomore.
