2023 Season
As a redshirt freshman, saw action in six games with one start at quarterback … rushed for 312 yards and four touchdowns on 53 carries with a long of 60 yards, completed 35 of 59 passes for 435 yards and one touchdown with five interceptions … registered back-to-back 100-yard rushing games vs. Bowling Green (109 yards) and at Northern Illinois (109 yards) … became the first quarterback at Central Michigan to rush for 100 or more yards in back-to-back games since Tommy Lazzaro in 2018 … rushed for 18 yards on 10 carries, completed seven of 15 passes for 68 yards in first career start in season finale at Eastern Michigan (11/25) … rushed for 21 yards, completed 3-7 passes for 62 yards with a long of 36 vs. Western Michigan (11/16) … scored two touchdowns, tied a career-high with 109 rushing yards on 14 carries with a long of 33 yards, completed 3-4 passes for 36 yards at Northern Illinois (11/2) .. tied a career-high with 109 yards on 16 carries with a career-long of 60 yards and registered career-highs for completions (18), completion attempts (25), passing yards (185) and threw his first career touchdown pass vs. Bowling Green (10/22) … became the first Central Michigan quarterback to rush for over 100 yards in a game since Tommy Lazzaro vs. Ball State in 2018 … his 60-yard run was the longest by a CMU quarterback since at least 2005 … rushed for eight yards on three carries and completed 3-7 passes for 40 yards at Penn State (9/24) … saw first career action, scored two rushing touchdowns, rushed for 47 yards on six carries and completed a 44-yard pass vs. Bucknell (9/17).
2021 Season
Redshirted his first season at Central Michigan … did not see game action.
Ankeny High School
A 2021 graduate of Ankeny High School in Ankeny, Iowa, where he played three years of varsity football for Head Coach Rick Nelson … named Class 4A First Team All-State as a senior and junior, named captain in his senior year … also earned all-conference honors twice … named Iowa’s Top Quarterback in his class … two-time Class 4A All-District selection … passed for 2,041 yards and 28 touchdowns in 2020 … also rushed for 852 yards and had 10 rushing touchdowns ... led AHS to a state championship …? in junior season, passed for 2,207 yards and 20 touchdowns while completing 61.5 percent of passes (126-of-205) … named the Grinnell Mutual Player of the Week … rated a three-star recruit by ESPN, 247sports, and ON3DB, and two-star recruit by Rivals … also earned all-state honors in baseball as a shortstop.
