Appeared in 32 games and moved into a starting role during CUSA play with 15 starts. He averaged 6.7 points per game and was third on the team with 53 made 3-pointers while shooting 38.4 percent from long range. Had a season-high 20 points at Jacksonville State on 2/13/25 and scored in double figures 9 times.

Hammons was second on the team in scoring at 12.5 points per game ... led the Cardinals in 3-pointers made with 81 ... ranked near the top of the Southland Conference in multiple statistical categories during league play, finishing fifth in 3-point percentage (36 percent) and second in 3-pointers made per game (2.7).
 
Truman College
Prior to UIW, Hammons starred in junior college at Truman College during the 2022-2023 season, averaging 22 points which was fifth in scoring in NJCAA Division I. During the 2021-2022 season, he averaged 11 points per game at Mott College.
 
High School
Hammons prepped at national powerhouse Curie High School in Chicago. His senior year, the Condors finished 29-2.
