Appeared in 33 games … was the hero of opening night at the Bearkat Classic as she capped off an improbable Bearkat comeback as she hit a walk-off 3-run homerun against UTSA (2/9) … went 2-for-3 with two doubles and an RBI against Northwestern State (2/12) … tied her career high in RBI with four thanks to a grand slam against UTA (2/18) … hit a two-run homerun as a part of a 2-for-3 game against Prairie View A&M (3/1)
2022 Season
Appeared in 53 games, starting all of them … started the season with a good performance at the Bearkat Classic that was highlighted with a solo homerun as a part of a two RBI performance against Wichita State (2/11) then followed that up the same day with a 3-for-3 game with two doubles and an RBI against South Dakota (2/11) and capped her performance with four RBI against Wichita State (2/13) … went 3-for-5 with an RBI against Tulsa (2/19) … hit a solo homerun against UTA (2/26) … hit a go-ahead 2-run homerun in the fourth inning against Lamar (3/4) that forced a run-rule win … went 1-for-2 with three RBI against Tarleton (3/13) … tacked on four RBI on a 3-for-5 day including a solo homerun against Tarleton (4/9) … had her best game of the season when she went 2-for-4 with both hits being homeruns that helped her get a career-high in RBI with five against SFA (4/29) … went 1-for-3 with an RBI at the WAC Tournament against New Mexico State (5/11)

Appeared in 28 games, making 24 starts as a true freshman at first base … batted .246 with 16 hits, four doubles and a home run … had nine RBIs and scored seven runs … had a .979 fielding percentage with 91 putouts … went 3 for 4 with two RBIs against Northwestern State on 4/25.
Lexington High School
Hobbs was among the national high school leaders in home runs and RBI as a senior at Lexington before the season was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. She was a first-team all-district selection as a junior. She was the district Offensive Most Valuable Player as a freshman and sophomore. Hobbs, who plays for the Texas Blaze Elite Gold 18U club team, was Lexington's Most Valuable Player her freshman year and was also honorable mention all-state as a pitcher. She has been an academic all-district honoree each season and is in the top 10 percent of her class. She is the daughter of Amy and Travis Hobbs.
