He helped lead the Eagles to the semifinals of the 2011 CIF-Southern Section Western Division playoffs before losing to eventual champion Arroyo Grande by a score of 36-45 ... Chaminade Prep finished the season with a 10-3 overall record and a 4-1 conference mark, placing second in the Mission League ... Hardy recorded 69 total tackles on the season, including seven sacks ... He was voted a team captain as a senior ... As a junior, Hardy earned All-City honors, while leading Chaminade to an almost identical season as his senior campaign ...
