ERIN CHERNICKY is in her second season as graduate
assistant coach for the Bearkat softball program. She works with the
catchers while assisting in recruiting. chernicky was a four-year
letter winner at Louisiana Tech where she produced a career fielding
average of .981 as the starting catcher for the Techsters. She earned
Academic All-Western Athletic Conference honors. Chernicky earned a
bachelor's degree in Educational Services from Louisiana Tech and is
pursuing her master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Sam
Houston State
