As athletic media services coordinator, Kevin Rodriguez oversees social media for Bearkat athletics. He also is the primary media contact for baseball, men’s and women’s golf and soccer and assists with all other sports and publications.
Rodriguez joined the Sam Houston State Athletics department staff in September 2012.
He was previously the Assistant Director of Communications for the National Football Foundation. Rodriguez was responsible for the launch of a new website and expanding the organization's interactive media efforts.
Prior to joining the NFF, Rodriguez served as the media services intern at the Southland Conference where he contributed to the communications efforts for all 17 sports.
Rodriguez earned a bachelor's degree from Sam Houston State in mass communication in May 2009. While in Huntsville, he worked in the sports information office for two years and assisted with the schools new media efforts.
