Michelle Plitt serves as an athletic secretary for the Sam Houston State University athletic department. She joined the athletic staff in February 2014.

She works with bowling, football, golf, track & field, strength & conditioning and athletic training.

Previously she worked for the Huntsville Independent School District for 14 years.

Her husband, Bill, is employed in the SHSU Residence Life Maintenance Department.

Born and raised in Southern California, Michelle and her family moved to Texas in March 1995.

Michelle has three children, Allyson, Carly and Jacob.
