Tyler tournament success

Two Bearkats, Anrinette Botha and Sheridan Currie, reached the finals of the C Singles but did not play the final match since they were paired against teammates.
Tatiana Posnikova and Nadia Dubyanskaya team to reach the A Doubles finals. The SHSU teams of Imke Jagau and Natalie Petaia and Botha and Kayla Stevenson fought their way to the B Doubles finals.
For the tournament, Sam Houston went 13-5 in singles play and 12-2 in doubles action.
Next action for the Bearkat women's tennis team will be the annual Intercollegiate Tennis Association Regional Championship in Waco Friday October 22 through Tuesday October 26.
Sam Houston will wrap up fall play with the University of Houston tournament hosted by the Cougars on Friday November 5 through Sunday November 7.
