Aida Sanchez signs with Bearkat bowling

Head coach Brad Hagen and the Bearkats will begin the program's first season October 17.
Sanchez brings more than 15 years of bowling experience with international competition in countries such as Aruba, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Puerto Rico, and two years of collegiate bowling developmental education.
"Aida's passion for bowling along with her burning desire to compete and win in collegiate competitions, are motivating factors that should reflect on very positive results for the team's accomplishments and her own this season," Hagen said. " Aida's empathy toward other team members is an important element in fostering teamwork and a strong attribute that she'll bring to the table among teammates"
Sanchez has represented her country with pride and has been a current member of either the Dominican National Youth Team and or Adult Team since 2004 respectively and has had much success to date in her international competitions. Aida joins the Bearkats as a transfer from Wichita State University with an 3.1 GPA.
