Tennis opens fall schedule

The event marked the first tournament of the fall season for the women's tennis team.
"All in all, we had a good showing for our first tournament," Sam Houston head coach Jim Giachino said. "There was an exceptionally strong field at the tournament including TCU and SMU and each of the girls played well. It was good for the team to get the experience of playing quality competition."
