SHSU Baseball banquet and auction fundraiser

The Sam Houston baseball program will honor the 1963 NAIA national championship squad this season at the preseason banquet and auction fundraiser.
The event will be held on Feb. 2 in the Lowman Student Center on campus.
"Instead of having a featured speaker this season, we thought it would be great to honor the 1963 team," said head coach David Pierce. "This is such a great event and we are looking forward to seeing everyone out there as we get set to start another season."
Pierce will also provide a preview of the 2013 season and introduce the squad that will defend last season's Southland Conference championship. The event will also feature a live and silent auction.
