SHSU netters host No. 69 Islanders Tuesday

The Islanders stands 9-1 for the year and 2-1 in Southland Conference action after a narrow 4-3 loss to defending Southland Conference champion Stephen F. Austin Sunday.
Sam Houston owns a 4-7 mark for the season and is 0-1 in Southland action after falling to SFA 5-2 Saturday in Nacogdoches.
The Bearkats expect to play Imke Jagau at No. 1 singles, Sheridan Currie at No. 2, Tanya Postnikova at No.3, Natalie Petaia at No. 4, Maddie Mortimore at No. 5 and Nadia Dubyanskaya at No. 6.
Doubles teams for the Kats are Dubyanskaya and Postnikova at No. 1, Currie and Petaia at No. 2 and Jagau and Kayla Stevenson at No. 3.
Doris Kuselj plays No. 1 for the Islanders and teams with Stefania Nicolae at No. 1 doubles.
