Three Kats at Texas Amateur Championship

JT Taylor led the Bearkats at the 104th Texas Amateur Championship at Lakeside Country Club, June 13-16.

Taylor shot rounds of 72-72-69-73-286 to finish tied for 9th behind winner Doug Manor's 12-under total of 276. He was 24^th at last year's Texas State Amateur.

All three Bearkats made the 36-hole cut with Albert Miner finishing tied for 48th with scores of 74-74-74-75-297 and Logan Boatner finishing tied for 53rd with scores of 73-75-73-80-301.

The victor earns an automatic exemption into the 2013 Texas Mid-Amateur Championship to be held at Cordillera Ranch later this year and next year's Texas Amateur which is scheduled to be held at Brook Hollow in Dallas.
