Neishka Cardona wins Puerto Rico title

Sam Houston State senior women's bowler Neishka Cardona has added another title to her international resume.
Cardona returned home to Puerto Rico during the holidays to compete for a berth on the Puerto Rico national team.
The tournament format consisted of eight games per day for four consecutive days using the demanding World Ten Pin Association patterns which varied daily.
Just 14 pins out of first place after day one, Cardona took over the lead in each of the final three days to earn this year's over Puerto Rico individual championship by a margin of 194 pins.
Her scores each day with 1,535; 1,602; 1,645 and 1,583.
By winning the Puerto Rican Team trials, Cardona earns another berth on her National Team for the 2014-2015 season and a trip to this year's PABCON Cup.
