
Women headed to SFA Fall Tournament

The Sam Houston women's tennis team travels to Nacogdoches to participate in their second tournament of the fall season.
The Bearkats are one of six squads competing in the Stephen F. Austin Schlief Tennis Inviational.
The event will take place at the Schlief Tennis Complex on Saturday and Sunday with play set to begin at 9 a.m. both days.
Teams in the tournament include Lamar, McNeese State, Tarleton State, Saint Mary's, host SFA and Sam Houston.
There will be five singles draws and three doubles draws.
Sam Houston's Fabienne Gettwart and Olivia Battye will compete in the singles A draw. Karen Martinez will be in the singles B draw. Bailey VanDyke will be in C draw; Mila Milanovic and Madeleine Mortimore in the D draw and Caitlyn Mitchell in the E draw.
Sam Houston's doubles teams will be Gettwart and VanDyke and Martinez and Milanovic in the doubles A draw and Mortimore and Mitchell in the doubles B draw.
