Tennis Team Plays In Final Fall Event

The Sam Houston State women's tennis team will complete its fall schedule Friday, Saturday and Sunday with play in the University of Houston Fall Classic.
Competition will take place at both the University of Houston Cougar and Rice University Owls tennis centers.
Teams from Kansas State, SMU, Iowa State, Syracuse, Oklahoma,, Lamar and Sam Houston will participate in the event.
Olivia Battye, Bailey VanDyke, Mila Milanovic, Karen Martinez, Maddie Mortimore and Caitlyn Mitchell will be playing for the Bearkats.
Sam Houston will go up against Lamar in six singles matches on the tournament's first day of action Friday.
The Bearkats have played in tournaments at Northwestern State, Stephen F. Austin and Baylor prior to this weekend's event.
