Kats pick up five wins at UH Fall Invt.

Sam Houston won all three doubles matches and earned two singles victories on the first day of the University of Houston Fall Invitational Friday.
The matches were played at the Rice University Tennis Center.
Mila Milanovia defeated Anna Spengler 6-4 6-2 and Maddie Mortimore beat Teodora Stefanovic 6-1 6-1 to give Sam Houston its singles victories.
Olivia Battye and Karen Martinez paired for an 8-4 victory over Andrea Ivanovic and Anna Spengler. Mortimore and Milanovic took an 8-6 win over Hanna Elfving and Katya Lapayeva. Bailey VanDyke and Caitlyn Mitchell downed Lara Castelli and Stefanovic 8-5.
Sam Houston will take on Louisiana Tech Saturday morning. The UH tournament is the fourth and final event on the Bearkats' 2014 fall schedule.
