Miner tied for second at UALR

Senior Albert Miner is tied for second to lead a Bearkat men's golf team that is just four strokes out of first place after two rounds of the UALR/First Tee Collegiate Classic. Louisiana-Monroe leads the field and league-foe McNeese State is in second.
Miner is two-under on the 7,326-yard, par-72 layout at Chenal's Bear Den Course in Little Rock, Ark. He is just one stroke behind Missouri State's Nick Langley, who fired a second-round 69.
Sam Houston is ahead of league opponents Stephen F. Austin, Abilene Christian and Oral Roberts.
Andrew Johnson is six strokes back of Miner and tied for 14th (74-74-148) place. Zach Cabra (75-76-151) is tied for 25th, Logan Boatner (74-79-153) is tied for 38th and Klein Klotz (81-73-154) is tied for 44th.
Teams will follow Monday's action with the final 18 holes and another 8 a.m. shotgun start on Tuesday.
