Women 14th at UALR

The Sam Houston women's golf team finished 14th at the UALR Women's Golf Classic at Diamante Country Club in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas. Middle Tennessee finished first and A&M-Corpus Christi's Vanessa Johnson was the individual medalist.
Paige Nelson (81-76-80-237) led the way for the Bearkats in 23rd place on the 6,076-yard, par-72 layout.
Alisa White (79-82-78-239) and Nicole Budnik both finished tied for 34th, Abigayle Corson (86-85-85-256) was 77th and Brooke Fouts (88-84-88-260) was 82nd.
The Kats are back in action next week at the Houston Baptist Huskey Invitational.
