Rain Cancels Road Softball & Tennis for Kats

Sam Houston's Southland Conference softball and tennis contests scheduled for Sunday afternoon both were rained out.

The Bearkat softball team was to take on Northwestern State in Natchitoches, La., in the third game of a weekend league series. Sam Houston swept a doubleheader between the two teams Saturday. The contest will not be made up.

Sam Houston's women's tennis match with Incarnate Word in San Antonio also was rained out. The two teams will meet at a later date.
