Stephanie Zavala completes Kats 2015 roster

Stephanie Zavala from Downey, California, has signed with Sam Houston State to finalize the 2014-15 roster for the NCAA national champion Bearkat women's bowling team.
Zavala comes to Sam Houston after an outstanding spring and summer of competition in national events.
She began her spring by winning the 2014 California Pepsi State Girls championship. The Pepsi USBC Youth Championship, one of the longest running national youth events in America, is open to all USBC Youth members.
Stephanie concluded her national competition in Buffalo, New York, competing in the Junior Gold National Championships which serves as a Junior Team USA Qualifier. She placed 36th out of the 600 top youth and collegiate bowlers who participate.
"We're extremely happy Stephanie has decided to make Sam Houston her home,” SHSU head coach Brad Hagen said. “Her competitive spirit and determination to succeed will be an excellent addition to what already is an elite roster. Stephanie will be a great contributor to this team and an immediate asset."
