Bearkats Complete Fall Schedule at SMU

The Sam Houston women's tennis team will complete its 2015 fall tournament schedule this weekend as the Bearkats compete in the Blue and Red Challenge hosted by SMU in Dallas.
The event will pit the Sam Houston women against teams from Wyoming, Wichita State and Tulsa in three dual matches Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
The Kats will play Wyoming at 12 noon on Friday, Wichita State at 12 noon on Saturday and Tulsa at 9 a.m. Sunday.
A young squad with only one senior, Maddie Mortimore, the Bearkats have competed well at tournaments at Tyler, Rice, Northwestern State and the ITA Regional in College Station.
Other veterans for the Kats include sophomores Fabienne Gettwart, Mila Milanovic and Caitlyn Mitchell and junior Bailey VanDyke.
Newcomers this fall are Ema Barkovic, Carrie Casey and Ken Yen Wee.
