In the final match for Bearkat seniors Olivia Battye and Karen Martinez, Sam Houston fell to Northwestern State 5-2 Sunday afternoon at the McAdams Tennis Center.

Bailey VanDyke and Caitlyn Mitchell earned the Kats their points by winning the number three and six singles matches.

Sam Houston played without number three player Mila Milanovich after the freshman sprained her ankle and had to default in Saturday's loss to Stephen F. Austin. The matches against the Lumberjacks and the Demons completed the 2015 season for the Sam Houston women's tennis team.
