Tennis Hosts Matches Friday & Saturday

The Sam Houston women's tennis team plays host to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Friday at 1 p.m. The contest is the first of two dual matches at the McAdams Tennis Complex this weekend. Incarnate Word visits Saturday at 1 p.m.
The Islanders bring a 9-7 overall season record into the contest and stand 2-3 in Southland Conference play. Both Incarnate Word and Sam Houston are looking for their first league win.
The Sam Houston singles line-up consists of Olivia Battye, Fabienne Gettwart, Bailey VanDyke, Mila Milanovic, Karen Martinez, Maddie Mortimore and Caitlyn Mitchell.
Judit Vines and Jenena Dzinc are the top two players for the Islanders.
